Welcome to the website of Jonathan B. Hall, a classical musician, writer,
and teacher in the Metro-New York area.

Jonathan Hall is an organist and sacred musician of many years'
experience. He earned the Doctor of Music at the Jacobs School of Music of
Indiana University, and is a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists. He
teaches at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human
Development of New York University. He is also very active in the
American Guild of Organists, serving as Director of the Committee
Professional Certification. His articles and reviews often appear in journals
such as TAO and
The Diapason. He is active as a recitalist as well,
performing solo and with saxophonist
Bill Powers.
