Christmas Broadcast Schedule

I have the tentative schedule for Christmas morning….Sunday, December 25…the morning radio broadcast from WLNG-FM, Radio Eastern Long Island.

Powers and Hall will be sharing their Christmas carol renditions at 6:45, 7:45, 8:45 and 9:45, give or take a few minutes either direction.

You could tune in (if you’re local) at 92.1 FM; or go to the website at www.wlng.com for streaming worldwide.

Tune in to 92.1 FM only if you are on the Forks of Long Island, the Connecticut Shoreline from New Haven east, or Rhode Island. I would guess that Fisher’s Island and Block Island (not to mention Gardiner’s Island, Plum Island, and the other assorted atolls of the area) are also good for airwave transmission.

Otherwise—anywhere else in the world—go to www.wlng.com and choose “listen live,” then select your preferred format, most likely Windows Media.

You’ll hear the 4 manual organ at Central Presbyterian Church of Montclair—the “Church of Jesus Loves Me,” referring to the composer of that hymn, who was a member.

If in Montclair, look for the tall steeple and the open door.

Wherever you are, tune in at 6:45, 7:45, 8:45, and 9:45 Christmas morning and enjoy some wonderful music. And merry Christmas!
